Karachi October 21 2022: Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) informed to all concerned that trading in the shares of G3 Technologies Limited (GTECH) on the Ready Board will be suspended w.e.f Thursday, November 03, 2022 for entitlement of shares of Ghani Chemical Industries Limited (GCIL) pursuant to amalgamation of G3 Technologies Limited with and into Ghani Chemical Industries Limited.
The Lahore High Court vide Order dated October 11, 2022 has sanctioned the Scheme of Arrangement for Amalgamation of GTECH with and into GCIL. GTECH vide letter dated October 19, 2022 has announced the final date of Book Closure as November 05, 2022 which has been notified through PUCARS on PSX website. In terms of the Scheme of Arrangement, the shareholders of GTECH will be allotted 0.3 share of GCIL against 1 share of GTECH.
In view of the above, trading in Futures Contracts of G3 Technologies Limited (GTECH) shall be shortened for DFC-NOVB and DFC-DEC; whereas, DFC-OCTB will be matured as per standard practice.
Hence, the last Trading Day of aforesaid futures contracts will be Friday, October 28, 2022 and corresponding settlement date will be Tuesday, November 01, 2022.
On fulfillment of the requirements, GTECH will be delisted from the Exchange, notice of which shall be issued separately.
