Islamabad June 4 2023: Pakistan National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) introduced a state-of-the-art eye authentication system after fingerprints and facial recognition.
Initially, Iris biometric technology was activated at mega centers of Blue Area Islamabad, Pico Road Lahore and DHA Karachi.
More than 700 more nadra offices across the country will soon incorporate Iris as biometric authentication technology.
The only natural feature of human identity is that the #Iris of the eye does not change throughout life after the age of four: Chairman NADRA.
Thanks to this technology, complete protection of citizens’ data will be ensured and accurate identity verification will be possible, he added.
