Karachi September 18 2021: Yunus Textile Mills Limited has signed a partnering agreement with OceanSafe AG, Switzerland. The collaboration focuses on the development and manufacturing of circular, toxin-free and biodegradable home textile products, ranging from sheets, comforters, quilts, duvets, curtains and more. All finished products will be Cradle to Cradle Certified Gold or higher.
Yunus Textile, a global leader in home textile, has always worked towards the attainment of sustainable practices and solutions towards the betterment of the environment, reduction of microplastics and water stewardship. This collaboration will help YTML in making products that are safe for the biological cycle, without compromising on quality, performance and comfort. OceanSafe AG is a Swiss textile technology company which helps brands and retailers develop fully circular products. Part of their concept is establishing fully certified and transparent value chains from fiber to finished products. OceanSafe has developed proprietary synthetic textile fibers and yarns, which are circular, biodegradable, toxin-free and Cradle to Cradle Certified Gold.
