Islamabad September 21 2023: The Election Commission has said that the general elections in the country will be held in the last week of January.
In a statement, the Election Commission said that "today it validated the work of constituencies and decided that the preliminary list of constituencies will be published on September 27, 2023." After hearing the objections and suggestions on the preliminary constituencies, the final list of constituencies will be published on November 30.
The Election Commission added that after 54 days of final list of constituencies according to election programme, "the elections will be held in the last week of January 2024."
