Karachi September 16 2023: Pakistan earned USD 235 million by providing different Information Technology (IT) services in various countries during the month of August 2023, according to data released by State Bank of Pakistan.
This shows a increase of 9.8 percent as compared to USD 214 million earned through provision of Technology services during the previous month of this year. Moreover, Technology exports increased by 3.1 percent when compared with exports of USD 228 million in August 2022.
Overall, during the period from July 2022 to August 2023 the Information Technology exports increased by 5.1 percent to USD 449 million when compared with exports of USD 427 million during the corresponding period last year.
