Karachi March 20 2023: Pakistan earned USD 195 million by providing different Information Technology (IT) services in various countries during the month of February 2023, according to data released by State Bank of Pakistan.
This shows a decline of 3 percent as compared to USD 201 million earned through provision of Technology services during the same month of last year. However, Technology exports increased by 3 percent when compared with exports of USD 190 million in January 2023.
Overall, during the period from July 2022 to February 2023 the Information Technology exports increased by 2 percent to USD 1.72 billion when compared with exports of USD 1.69 billion during the corresponding period last year.
