Karachi May 12 2023: Pakistan Stock Exchange informed that the targeted date of Monday, 15th of May 2023, for New Trading System (NTS) Go-Live has been confirmed.
This new trading engine (NTS) was procured from the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE), China. The system is deployed on state-of-the-art, robust, and advanced servers in house to meet and exceed the trading needs of Pakistan Stock Exchange and its ecosystem. The additional benefit of the NTS is system-readiness for new products and additions.
All the necessary procedures and approvals have been duly completed, and PSX shall proceed with the launch of New Trading System on 15th of May 2023.
PSX, would like to take this opportunity to express its appreciation towards all TRE Certificate Holders/Securities Brokers and other stakeholders. It was imperative to share the ownership of this project, and in this regard, PSX recognizes all your efforts, and contribution towards the successful implementation of New Trading System.
Furthermore, PSX acknowledges the relentless efforts of PSBA/RC, SECP, NCCPL, and CDC, as they played a crucial role in moving towards the successful implementation of New Trading System.
Following are few key points, that PSX believes, would help in smooth operations during 1st week of Go-Live:
• Market timing / DTS for market activities, in New Trading System, will remain the same as in practice today.
• NCHS will not be available from the 1 st day of Go-Live, i.e. 15th of May, 2023. TRECHs are requested to download all required reports from NCHS by End of Day Friday 12th of May 2023.
• The same KITS and THIMS credentials that were used in production on end-of-day Friday 12th of May 2023 will continue to be used post Go-Live.
• JTT and NTT credentials used as at end-of-day Friday 12th of May 2023 in UAT, will be used post Go-Live.
• All TRE Certificate Holders/Securities Brokers are required to upload their RMGS files before 08:00 PM on daily basis starting from 12th May 2023.
All TRE Certificate Holders/Securities Brokers are requested to assess and analyze any observations internally before reaching out to PSX Support. It is crucial to keep the channels open for relevant observations.
