Lahore March 22 2023: The Election Commission of Pakistan has withdrawn the date and schedule of the Punjab Assembly elections. The Election Commission has postponed the elections and set a new date for the elections on October 8. According to the Election Commission, the election will be held on April 30. The President has been informed about the decision to postpone the elections. The Election Commission has said in an announcement that in the light of the reports submitted by the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Interior and law enforcement agencies, the Commission has come to the conclusion that transparent, fair and peaceful elections are necessary in the current situation. It is not possible to hold and now these elections will be held on October 8.
