Pakistan Increased Salaries of Government Employees by 35%

Islamabad June 9 2023: Government of Pakistan decided to increase salaries of its employees by 35% in recently announced budget for next fiscal year.

Salaries of employees from Grade 1 to 16 increased by 35% and from Grade 17 above salaries increased by 30%. Federal Cabinet increased pension of government employees by 17.5%.

Moreover, Government decided to increase minimum wage to PKR 32,000 per month from current level of PKR 25,000 per month.
