Karachi April 14 2023: SBP foreign exchange reserves for the week ending April 7, 2023, were down by USD 170 million to USD 4,038 million as per data released by the Central Bank.
At present, SBP reserves stand at the level of USD 4,038 million as of 7th April 2023 compared to USD 4,208 million at the end of the week ending 31st March 2023. During the last three weeks Central Bank reserves decrease by USD 560 million.
During the same period, foreign exchange reserves held by commercial banks also decreased by USD 26 million to the level of USD 5,526 million as of 7th April 2023.
Overall reserves held by the country witnessed a decrease of USD 195 million to USD 9,564 million during the week ending April 7, 2023.
