Islamabad April 27 2022: Fiscal deficit amounts to Rs 2,565 billion compared with Rs 2,103 billion of same period last year, according to Ministry of Finance.
Federal revenue collection amounts to Rs 4,383 billion while collection from provinces was Rs 438 billion in 9M of FY22 compared with Rs 3,394 billion and Rs 370 billion respectively
Tax to GDP ratio in 9M of FY22 was 9.2% compare with 9% of 9M of FY21.
Direct tax amounts to Rs 1,579 billion compared with Rs 1,256 billion, indirect taxes Rs 2,805 billion compared with Rs 2149 billion, customs Rs 715 billion compared with Rs 541 billion and sales tax Rs 1,866 billion compared with Rs 1,416 billion.
Collection from Petroleum Levy in 9M of FY22 amounted to Rs 125 billion vs Rs 369 billion of the same period last year.
Markup paymemts amounted to Rs 2,118 billion and Defence spending Rs 883 billion bs Rs 2,103 billion and Rs 783 billion of the same period year ago.
