Pakistan Currency gained 7.2 rupees against dollar in last five trading days on political certainty: SBP

Karachi April 14 2022: Pak rupee gains 13 paisa or 0.07 percent against US dollar on Thursday and closed at 181.69 against yesterday’s closing of PKR 181.82 on settling of political dust.

In last five trading sessions Pak rupee strengthened by PKR 7.19 from all-time low.

The currency has weakened against US dollar due to rising pressure on external account and touched PKR 188.8 on 7th April 2022.

Dollar in the open market also down by 50 paisas to close at open market trading around 181.50 gains PKR 9 from low of 190.50 rupees.
