Karachi May 6 2022: Majority of the cement sector stocks fell as coal prices in the international market crosses $300 per ton level.
Richards Bay contract for the current month, the main type of coal imported by Pakistani cement manufacturers, increases 3.1% in the international market to $311.05 per ton.
Share prices of 15 cement stocks fell in today’s trading at Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) including Attock Cement by Rs. 3.21 or 2.74%, Cherat Cement by Rs. 0.74 or 0.59%, DG khan Cement by Rs. 1.76 or 2.62%, Lucky Cement by Rs. 6.77 or 1.19%, Pioneer Cement by Rs. 2.00 or 2.97% and Thatta Cement by Rs. 0.54 or 2.94%.
