Islamabad September 12 2022: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA), after incorporating the fuel adjustments, has reviewed and assessed an increase of PKR 4.3435 per unit in the applicable tariff for XWDISCOs on account of variations in the fuel charges for the month of July 2022.
However, NEPRA makes and notifies negative adjustment of PKR 4.1171 per kWh in the approved tariff on account of variation in fuel charges for the month of July 2022 to be charged in September for the customers of K-Electric Limited.
These charges shall be applicable to all the consumer categories except Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (EVCS) and lifeline consumers of all the XWDJSCOs.
The said adjustment shall be shown separately in the consumers' bills on the basis of units billed to the consumers in the
month of July 2022 by the XWDlSCOs. XWDISCOs shall reflect the fuel charges adjustment in respect of July 2022 in the billing month of September 2022.
While effecting the Fuel Adjustment Charges, the concerned XWDISCOs shall keep in view and strictly comply with the orders of the courts notwithstanding this order.
