Karachi August 18 2022: Margin Trading System (MTS) hosting will be shifted from PSX to NCCPL from Monday, August 22, 2022, according to information provided by NCCPL.
After the successful completion of Mocks and considering valuable feedback received from the Market Participants, NCCPL is pleased to arrange the Verification Session on Saturday, August 20, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM and announce Go-Live Date effective from Monday, August 22, 2022.
Those MTS Participants who are neither currently operational in the MTS Market nor interested to complete the necessary installation process at this stage are required to contact NCCPL Customer Support Services at least one business day prior to becoming active in order to obtain necessary System access and to complete the necessary installation process. It must be noted that after Go-Live, necessary installation process will take at-least one working day.
All MTS Participants are also requested to contact NCCPL Customer Support Services by Friday, August 19, 2022, if there is any connectivity issue faced by them to avoid any inconvenience in Go-Live.
All Participants are required to download / save Friday, August 19, 2022 day-end closing position from existing MTS Release System for necessary verification at their end during the Verification Session arranged for them as stated above. Further, for the convenience of MTS Participants, existing MTS Release System and MTS Release System (hosted by NCCPL) will be made available for verification. MTS Participants are advised to reconcile their closing position of Friday August 19, 2022 from both Systems.
Existing MTS Release System (hosted by PSX) will also be available to Clients only for Saturday, August 20, 2022 for necessary verification and reconciliation of their closing position of Friday, August 19, 2022
Though NCCPL has already installed Forti-Client VPN Application and MTS setup on pre-notified MTS Terminals; Clients are further requested to ensure that any backup / Additional Terminals used for dayto-day MTS Operations must have the VPN setup completed prior to participation in MTS Verification Session and LIVE Operations from Go-Live and onwards.
As per NCCPL’s specification, Clients (accessing NCCPL hosted MTS) from PSX LAN network should additionally acquire VPN services and two factor authentication facility for enhanced security. In this respect, Clients shall be provided with a soft 2-Factor token which can be either installed on Windows 10 OS or Android / IOS Mobile devices
As MTS hosting will be shifted from PSX to NCCPL on concluding the Final Verification Session, hence verification by all Participants is utmost significant.
