Lahore December 23 2022: The Lahore High Court has issued an order to restore Parvez Elahi to the post of Chief Minister after giving an assurance on his behalf not to dissolve the Assembly.
It should be noted that earlier the governor of Punjab de-notified Parvez Elahi for not taking the vote of confidence in time and issued a decree to dissolve the Punjab cabinet.
The Lahore High Court has issued notices to the Punjab Governor and Attorney General and others.
