Lahore March 11 2023: Tehreek-e-Insaf Vice Chairman and former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that if Imran Khan is arrested, he will temporarily lead the party himself.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi further said while talking to the media that Imran Khan will not be arrested first because there is no justification for it. However, even if he is arrested under political expediency, it will be a nefarious attempt to cut off his public contact.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that “if Imran Khan is arrested, there is a party structure for him under which the responsibility of the party will be temporarily handed over to me.”
He claimed that the leadership and principles will be Imran Khan’s and the leadership will also be Imran Khan’s. My role will be according to Imran Khan’s decree and this role will be temporary.
