Karachi January 25 2023: On January 25, 2023, SBP raised PKR 852 billion through the auction of market treasury bills at all time high rates.
The government received total bids worth PKR 1,593 billion and the highest bids of PKR 1,307 billion for 3 Month T-bills followed by PKR 160 billion for 6 Months and PKR 125 billion for 12 Months.
Cut-off yields increased by 94 basis points for 3 Months as Central Bank increase the policy rate to 17 percent on Monday.
The cut-off yield for 3 Months of paper settled at 17.9374 percent.
Government rejected the bids for 6 Months and 12 Months paper.
The government raised PKR 851billion in the latest auction against a target of PKR 650 billion.
