Karachi January 28 2023: According to All Sindh Sarafa Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola increased by PKR 4,300 per tola for 24 Karat on Saturday (PST 20:30) to a new record high.
Pakistani currency fall 7.17 or 2.73 percent on Friday against dollar to close at 262.6 in Interbank after falling 24.54 rupees or 9.61 percent on Thursday as Central Bank reserve deplete at a record pace due to hefty debt payments.
After this increase, the price of gold per tola in the country has reached an all time high of 2 lakh 8 thousand 400.
During the week the price of Gold increased by PKR 21,350 per tola.
The price of 24 karat 10 grams of gold trading at PKR 1 lakh 78 thousand 670, whereas that of 10 gram 22 karat went up to PKR 163,780, All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported.
The per tola silver is trading at PKR 2,240 compared with 2,180 price of yesterday.
In the International market, the price of gold decreased by 0.06 percent or 1.1 dollar per ounce to 1,945.6 dollars per ounce on Friday.
