Karachi October 24 2024: The price of 24 karat per tola gold increased by PKR 1,600 and was sold at all time high of PKR 285,000 on Tuesday in Pakistan compared to its sale at PKR 283,400 on last trading day.
Gold prices lingered near record highs on Tuesday, supported by uncertainty surrounding the upcoming U.S. presidential election, while investors awaited data for clues on the Federal Reserve’s interest rate trajectory, Reuters reported.
The price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also increased by PKR 1,372 to PKR 244,342 from PKR 242,970 whereas the price of 10 gram 22 karat gold went up to PKR 223,980 from PKR 222,722, the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported.
The price of per tola and ten gram silver remained unchanged at PKR 3,350 and PKR 2,872.08 respectively.
The price of gold in the international market increased by USD 16 to USD 2,755 from USD 2,72,739, the Association reported.
