Islamabad July 4 2023: The per tola price of 24 karat gold decreased by PKR 2,900 and was sold at PKR204,300 on Tuesday against its sale at PKR 207,200 the previous day as dollar fall both in Open market and interbank.
Dollar fall 10.55 in interbank on IMF deal to close at 275.44, according to State Bank of Pakistan. In Open market dollar fall 8 rupees and is trading at 279.15 against Pakistan Rupee (PST 18:12).
The price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also decreased by PKR 2,481 to PKR 175,160 from PKR 177,641 whereas the price of 10 grams 22 karat gold went down to PKR 160,562 from PKR 162,837, All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported.
The price of per tola silver declined by PKR 38 and was PKR 2,462.
The price of gold in the international market increased by USD 17 to USD 1929 from USD 1912, the association reported.
