Islamabad July 27 2021: The FBR's portal (IRIS) is now opened for filing of return for salaried persons, business individuals, Association of Persons (AOPs) and corporate entities having special financial year.
The last date for filing of income tax returns for the tax year 2021 is September 30, 2021.

The due date for Tax return will not be extended this year. FBR sense proactive approach to sensitize taxpayers about legal obligation of return filling is imperative to increase number of filers. For this FBR all formations are going to take possible measures including conducting seminars/workshops, establishing kiosks, engaging all stakeholders and using all forms of media to ensure maximum return filling by due date.
