Karachi January 25 2023: Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan has set the dollar trading rate at 243 against Pakistan Rupee.
According to the notification, exchange companies will buy dollars at 240.6 while sell them at 243.0 against interbank dollar rate of 231.5.
Yesterday, it has been decided by the association to set the dollar rate at 253 rupees for buying from the open market by ending the dollar cap.
Forex market sources said that it has been decided to fix the selling price of the dollar at 255 rupees and the settlement price of the dollar for credit cards at 256 rupees.
It was decided in the exchange companies yesterday meeting that the decision to cap the dollar is in the interest of the country, but the results are not coming.
