Jun 21, 2021: Country reported 907 news cases on Jun 20, 2021 compared to average of 1,724 cases during last 30 days with that active cases declined to 34,020.

Pakistan’s coronavirus positivity rate remained 2.6 percent compared to 30 days’ average of 3.5 percent.

Sindh and Baluchistan were the most affected, as positivity rate witnessed at 4.3 percent and 5.8 percent, respectively.

In Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islambad, positivity rate witnessed at 1.5 percent, 1.1 percent and 0.7 percent, respectively.

Total 30 new deaths reported, highest reported in Sindh 28, followed by 9 in Punjab and 7 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Saudi Arabia, Pakistan Agree On Oil DeaL Report Financial Times

Bloomberg June 21 2021: Saudi Arabia has agreed to restart oil supply to Pakistan worth at least USD1.5 bilion a year from July to counter Iran’s influence in the region, the Financial Times reports, citing unidentified officials in Islamabad. Pakistan relations with Saudi Arabia have recovered from a downturn earlier, the FT says citing a senior Pakistan government official.
