Islamabad October 1 2022 The local court of Islamabad has issued an arrest warrant in the case against former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The Area Magistrate of Margalla Police Station has issued an arrest warrant for former Prime Minister Imran Khan in the case of threatening female Magistrate Zeba Chaudhry.
The case against the former prime minister was registered on August 20 at the Mar Gula police station in which he had threatened the lady judge.
The case was registered under anti-terrorism provisions. However, the Islamabad High Court struck down the anti-terrorism provisions of the case.
The other provisions in this case remained the same and under these provisions, Imran Khan did not get bail from the concerned court, on the basis of which the police obtained the arrest warrant of Imran Khan from the local court.
According to legal experts, after the anti-terrorism provisions are over, all other provisions are bailable.
