Lahore March 28 2023: AGL informed that upon restoration of gas supply by the Government to the Company's Urea Plant, the Plant has resumed its Urea production.
The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the cabinet on Wednesday March 15 2023 allowed supply of indigenous gas to fertilizer plants to meet urea requirement in the country for Kharif 2023.
Setting aside the option of importing the Urea fertilizer, the ECC decided and directed Petroleum Division to supply indigenous gas to urea fertilizer plants till 31st May, 2023 to meet the urea requirement in the country for Kharif 2023.
