Karachi January 26 2023: According to All Sindh Sarafa Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola increased by PKR 6,900 per tola for 24 Karat on Wednesday (PST 18:00) to a new record high.
Pakistani currency fall 24.54 rupees or 9.61 percent against dollar in interbank to close trading session at 255.43 as Central Bank reserve deplete at a record pace due to hefty debt payments. This is the worst daily decline of Pakistan Rupee in the history of the country.
After this increase, the price of gold per tola in the country has reached an all time high of 1 lakh 97 thousand 800.
During the week the price of Gold increased by PKR 10,750 per tola.
The price of 24 karat 10 grams of gold trading at PKR 1 lakh 69 thousand 580, whereas that of 10 gram 22 karat went up to PKR 155,447, All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported.
The per tola silver is trading at PKR 2,070 compared with 2,060 price of yesterday.
In the International market, the price of gold increased by 0.3 percent or 5.9 dollar per ounce to 1,953.5 dollars per ounce at PST 18:00.
